In an effort to move things along I am introducing a new project. More to come on the pennies. Pen and Ink. Only.

His stuff is really amazing! If your like me, I am constantly searching the net for interesting work, and the Behance Network is one inspiration after another!
Below is a little about Alberto in his own words, but really, just go check out his portfolio and be jealous. Or click here to see his website!

I’m a freelance designer and illustrator relocated in USA, Portland specifically directly from my amazing home town Mexico City. I have a background as interactive designer with experience in advertising, artistic and educational content. I have worked for several companies during my career as Art Director and even as Creative Director but lately I’m working to earn a place in the illustration and animation world based the context in my passion for whimsical characters and stories.

POST-ER: Come over here and help us!

poster_1

This is the first in a set of posters that I will be designing each week. At the end of my semester they will be compiled into a book.

This is based on the first Great Seal of the Massachusetts Bay Colony (see original below). It was part of the charter granted to British settlers in 1629 by Charles I. In this seal the Native American is saying “Come over here and help us!” We did of course come over here, and succeeded in helping many of the Indians to die. Although it was not technically a WAR (much like our current position n Iraq) we did occupy the territory that would later become the United States.
