I said I would and I am so don’t bug me about it. Get it? Cause it’s about bugs? Anyway, here is the updated version of my The Spider and the Fly cover. Admittedly I was not as worried about the cover as I was with what I did inside pre-typography class. In any event here is the new and improved version.

I am (and I know this is gonna be a HUGE shock) a big fan of the Rosie the riveter. Actually I am a big fan of any government commissioned art from years ago. I am glad this seems to be coming back. My friend Steve was saying I should put my own face on her, and while it actually fits okay I still am hesitant to add it to my site. Not that I am too good for cheesy, I just prefer fancy cheese to velveta. We’ll see.

I have been mucking through the ungodly task of putting together my website. I am fine with the look of it yet I still have to fine tune it, and make sure I spelled my name right and all that jazz. The galleries are kind of holding pictures at the moment and as is custom I am fighting with the alignment. But hey, at least I can use Rosie again and every time I do one of these things it gets closer to not sucking really hard like it’s predecessor so I guess it’s a win?

At this point my catch phrase is bordering in irony because there is nothing particularly riveting happening quite yet but just wait. I have some hopes and dreams that will no doubt come to fruition after I get through this laundry list of tasks that seem to keep piling up in front of me. Don’t worry though I can do it.
