It really is pretty amazing how much better I feel if I take the time to paint my nails.

I give you giant rubber, acid trip tassle, may double as whip, keychain.
Allow me to explain:
Earlier Today…
I went to Walmart. There I found this giant bag of pink, orange, and blue rubber bands while looking for a crazy amount of gold safety pins. (FYI they don’t have them). I liked the colors, and the whole enormous bag was around $5 so…
Crafting. Challenge. Accepted.
Lately I have been looking for a non lame keychain. I, like so many people, suffer from an inability to remember where I put my keys frequently. It’s seriously challenging for me, so I decided to make my own key chain. If success is measured by how impossible it will be for me to loose my keys NOW vs. Before Walmart, then this is an INCREDIBLY successful craft.

Actually lets MAKE some shoes would be more appropriate. So there are these Jeffrey Campbell shoes I like, however I don’t have 300 dollars to spend on (let’s be honest with ourselves) pretty ankle breakers soooooooo. I bought these kicky little knockoffs at Targét. They are a smaller platform which is much more my speed and with the help of some 97 cent for 70 nickel push pins from walmart I shall have my hearts desire in no time.
real thing = around $300
My version = base shoes $29.95 + 10 packs of pins = $39.65
I WIN!

Every time I get a New font I like to explore it’s possibilities. Sometimes this means using it to make an octopus.
This week I used “Memoriam”
So it’s senior project time! Along with the hand drawn/crafty type and this wonderful blog/place only my mom frequents, I am doing my aforementioned Pop-up book of the “Spider and the Fly” here is my first pass. There are two others I still need to photograph and many more to come!
